About Mary Nametka

Mary Nametka is a Family Nurse Practitioner whose goal is to help her patients live their best life. After earning a BSN and MSN degrees from SUNY Binghamton, Mary subsequently earned a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from OHSU and holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Gonzaga University.

She has extensive clinical experience focusing on adults and seniors; she is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Wound and Footcare specialist, and is credentialed to provide DOT physicals.

Mary’s background includes military service with the US Airforce during Desert Storm, attaining the rank of major, followed by serving in the Veterans Administration Health Care System for 15 years. Although Mary has practiced in Acute Care Hospitals during her early career, it is in Primary Care where she feels her strongest call to help people.

Specialty areas of practice include cholesterol management, wound and diabetic foot care. A lifelong learner, Mary, is currently working on a PhD exploring ways to prevent early heart disease. Mary loves living in the Pacific NW, close to her three grown children, and enjoys taking photos of our beautiful natural surroundings.
